1. Welcome to the 9th Simply Wedding Awards, Cornwall's only wedding awards judged using the comments, recommendations and scores supplied by YOU the Brides and Grooms.

   Voting will take place from 1st February 2025 until 30th September 2025. Finalists will be announced by 4th October 2025.

   Awards night presentation will take place on 22nd November 2025 at Penventon Park Hotel

     

   Information for All - All votes will cover weddings between 1st January 2023 and 30th September 2025.

   If you have previously entered any votes that fall within these dates automatically get moved over, so there is no need to contact those who have already voted, or if you have voted for a supplier before you do not need to vote again and it will classed as duplicated vote.

   We no long accept any votes from couples who are yet to have their day, and qualifying weddings must be within the above dates. After such unsure times for our industry we all need some positivity and this is a great way to show your suppliers how much you appreciated their efforts to make your day very special.

   Please remember, you have used these businesses, and these awards can help couples planning their big day recognise a fantastic supplier, based on your experiences and recommendations.

   Voting closes 30th September 2025, then its over to the Judges to view your scores and comments.

   Please note, you must have used the services for your wedding from 1st January 2023 to 30th September 2025. 

Terms and Conditions

Businesses must operate within Cornwall.

Voting Clients must have received the service during 1^st January 2023 and 30^th September 2025.

You will receive conformation of the names of the people who vote for your business, but due to data protection you will not receive any other information. After the awards you will have a copy of comments as anonymous lists.

Businesses will each receive a quantitative score. This is made up by the total vote scores divided by the number of votes received.

Businesses must receive a minimum of 6 votes to be put through the finalist stages.

Businesses entering the awards agree take part in the judges mystery shopping exercise.

All competing businesses must agree to the be included in the finalist stages, but doing this they agree that their business is qualified and insured accordingly.

Judges decision is final.
